In addition, the firm assists clients in major industry sectors with compliance, business process improvement, and strategy consulting. HPI is a sub-practice group within BRG that specializes in healthcare related matters with an emphasis in complex data needs and analysis processes.


The Business Development Executive is responsible for identification, development and closing of profitable new business for the Healthcare Performance Improvement Practice.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement sales/market strategy for the key targets within your territory/region.
  • Responsible for achievement of sales performance/targets within the territory/region and work with practice area leadership as applicable, to generate sales within the territory/region.
  • Maintain CRM database and input all relevant prospect activity, industry data, and client information into the CRM database.
  • Maintain integrity of company integrity, brand, image, philosophy and methods in all communications and in-person contact.
  • Responsibility for sales process for prospect's organization, including the management of the sales activities for specific healthcare prospects within a defined territory regional or national territory, proposal process and negotiation of contractual terms.
  • Timely submission of all sales reporting, time and expense reporting and other Administrative tasks as deemed appropriate.
  • Understand key competitors within the market.
  • Expand awareness of BRG brand in the marketplace.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential business opportunities within assigned territory/region.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate prospective client personnel.
  • Facilitate preparation of proposals to provide services to prospective Clients.
  • Maintain sales production that meets or exceeds projected activity and defined revenue.
  • Maintain record of sales activities and Client/prospect contacts in sales database.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting of sales activity in accordance with company policy.
  • Attend company meetings as required.
  • Attend industry events/meetings/functions, as appropriate, to represent BRG.


  • At least five years of successful sales activity in the provider markets (hospital and large physicians groups).
  • Established network of contacts within the provider markets (hospital and large physicians groups).
  • Strong Healthcare business acumen and current trends in the healthcare industry
  • Proven track record of achieving a sales targets to provider markets (hospital and large physician groups).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organization I time management skills.
