The Recruiting Manager will manage ongoing recruiting activities including developing recruiting strategies and identifying, tracking, coordinating and communicating with staff-level recruits across all offices and practice areas. The ideal candidate will have between eight and twelve years of previous work experience and be looking for an entrepreneurial environment in which they can develop and grow their professional skills.

Headquartered in Emeryville, California, BRG currently has over 40 offices across the United States and internationally. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for facilitating staff recruiting within the organization.
  • Implement recruiting strategies designed to successfully identify and source qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
  • Oversee efforts of the firm’s Staff Recruiters.
  • Partner with BRG hiring managers to develop a clear understanding of strategic and financial objectives and hiring needs.
  • Set up and manage job postings to attract qualified candidates.
  • Develop and utilize the applicant tracking system to document all recruits.
  • Assess candidates’ qualifications and strengths compared with job requirements and firm culture.
  • Communicate with recruits, including conducting first round interviews, and summarize candidate qualifications for hiring managers.
  • Coordinate logistics of interviews with BRG staff.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Eight to twelve years of previous work experience as a recruiter at a consulting firm or other professional services firm.
  • Experience working with and managing a team of recruiters or consultants.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and effective negotiation skills.
  • Proven competency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and MS Outlook (or similar email application). Experience with an applicant tracking system preferred, particularly iCIMS.
  • Ability to use creative sourcing tools and techniques such as CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, Twitter, Facebook, etc., to attract potential candidate for job openings.
  • Demonstrated interest in understanding BRG’s various service offerings and the necessary qualifications required to be a successful employee at BRG.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain rapport with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver recruiting strategies and initiatives.
  • Ability to use good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively manage time and priorities. A desire for an entrepreneurial work environment is preferred.
