The Senior Associate position is a junior consulting staff position.  This position will provide analytical and financial support in the delivery of forensic accounting, valuation, and advisory services in complex commercial disputes.  The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a team environment on a diverse range of forensic accounting assignments relating to internal investigations, valuation analysis, determining lost profits, including those in connection with  property and fidelity insurance claims.

  • Perform detailed analyses, both qualitative and quantitative, which will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Develop spreadsheet models used to analyze complex financial transactions.
  • Analyze historical and budgeted financial information to project future financial performance and lost profits.
  • Utilize forensic accounting skills to determine and quantify financial losses, including those with respect to fidelity or property insurance claims.
  • Perform day-to-day interaction with other team members and client personnel.
  • Apply accounting and analytical skills to various situations depending on the specific engagement. Examples include fund tracing, review of financial statements, and analysis of books and records.
  • Perform industry and company research using various online platforms and publicly available information.
  • Requires familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“U.S. GAAP”) and relevant auditing standards.
  • Read and analyze legal documents and communicate issues with team members in order to develop an understanding of the impact on financial analyses.
  • Must have the ability to multitask different aspects of a project while adhering to applicable deadlines.
  • Audit own work product and work product of others to assure quality.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Participate in group practice meetings and travel as needed.


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years prior work experience of accounting or finance experience. Audit experience with Big 4 or other major accounting firms is preferred.
  • Must have an active CPA license or working towards obtaining a license at time of application. A Certified Fraud Examiner (“CFE”) and/or Certified in Financial Forensics (“CFF”) accreditation is a plus.
  • Proven capability with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in other analytical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, Stata, MS Access, MS SQL Server) is a plus.
