The Associate position is an entry-level consulting staff position. The candidate for this role will be working as part of the BRG DRIVE development team with focus on implementation of analytics, backend and frontend functionality within DRIVE. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm.



  • Write and design database schemas, system configurations, utility methods, frontend templates, custom visualisations, and bespoke development of data parsers to feed into the DRIVE ecosystem.
  • Design the workflow and functionality of a given app/problem area independently and coordinate implementation with the wider team.
  • Responsible for the documentation of code, workflows and maintenance of the version control system.
  • Train the rest of the team on any new developed approaches and methodologies.


  • Minimum of 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Forensic Computing or Data Science related studies
  • A passion for technology and programming
  • Skilled in at least 1 programming language (Python, Java, C++ or C#)
  • A good understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript & CSS)
  • Experience with virtualisation (ideally also with container technologies)
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Available to travel for work
  • Right to work in the UK

  • Understanding of security implications of different technical approaches
