The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team responsible for supporting forecasting, financial modeling, contract negotiations, and ad hoc analysis activity across the Firm.  This position serves as a financial business partner to the Firm and its organizational units in all matters of financial analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst contributes to the development of insightful information to drive decision making and achievement of fiscal objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create/maintain consolidated forecasting and financial projection models.
  • Create, maintain and distribute accurate financial models of Expert contracts to prove out, document and illustrate financial operation and desirability of each arrangement.
  • Develop and present analysis that brings together financial data, key operating metrics and business information. Communicate analysis/information in a way that facilitates decision making.
  • Prepare ad hoc and routine financial analysis using advanced modeling techniques for special projects and “what if” scenarios. Directly support the President and the CFO on selected projects.
  • Apply organizational as well as written and verbal communications skills to assist in managing the annual budget and forecast processes.
  • Deliver insightful information to the owners through ad-hoc analysis.
  • Support the Finance Department in establishing and executing the department’s objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related financial analysis experience including in-depth complex financial modeling experience; professional service organization experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy and the ability to handle ambiguity and lead areas of responsibility with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word and PowerPoint along with advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookup, macros, etc.) and MS Access. Working knowledge of SQL and/or Elite 3E preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the firm.
  • Strong attention to detail; initiative and ability to follow-up and follow-through.
