The Gulf Breeze office is seeking a Case Assistant. The Case Assistant will be responsible for approximately 75% casework tasks and 25% administrative tasks as assigned.


Work as part of the engagement team performing assigned specific tasks, including:

  • Receive, inventory and maintain case documents into the various document management systems.
  • Create and update spreadsheets, including graphics.
  • Read case documents and sort them into issue files.
  • Research assigned topics and write technical narrative of research findings.
  • Participate in routine conference calls with client representatives regarding casework tasks, progress and document management.
  • Based on analysis from other consultants, manage the creation and editing of technical reports in Word.

Assist the Project Managers, including:

  • Assist in preparing and updating project budgets.
  • Reviewing and preparing invoices for PM approval.
  • Assist with accounts receivable process, including contacting clients to manage accounts receivable, when necessary.
  • Prepare conflict check requests, engagement letter requests, subcontractor agreement and task order requests.
  • Managing project deadline calendars.

Assist the Experts, including:

  • Manage extensive travel schedule.
  • Book and track flights, hotels, rental cars, etc.
  • Prepare and submit correct and complete expense reports.
  • Compile marketing and sales materials of firm qualifications and Expert’s credentials for prospects.
  • Updating Expert’s Curriculum Vitae in standard format.
  • Manage general office logistics, including:
  • Manage interface with internal IT department for new computers, internet issues, etc.
  • Manage office supplies for printers, plotters, kitchen, staff requests, etc.



  • Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years professional experience in the areas of construction management, engineering, engineering management, business, finance, accounting, economics, statistics, econometrics, or other construction/engineering related subjects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Experience with travel logistics and planning
  • Research skills a plus; knowledge of general litigation proceedings a plus.
