The Information Technology (IT) Operations Manager role is responsible for firm wide IT operations and management of all customer (aka user) and client related technical support, system administration and monitoring. This includes, but not limited to, Tier I Service Desk (outsourced), Tier II Support and Training, System Administration, Desktop Engineering (physical and virtual), Asset Management (ITAM) and Video Conferencing.
With every role in the field or IT, Information (Cyber) Security is woven into the fabric of all duties performed.
To accomplish the goals of this position, the IT Operations Manager interfaces with the Firm’s leadership, directors, and staff to define the IT’s operational requirements, develops related strategy, policies and procedures, and provides advisory consulting for the virtual and physical protection of information systems assets. The scope of responsibilities includes all technology resources, authorized by the Firm, in the transmission, processing, and storage of information assets of the Firm.
