    The BRG Global Construction Practice offers professional experience and competence in fact-finding, claims/dispute analysis and management, and litigation support, along with technical expertise in engineering, architecture, construction management, public contracting, specifications and technical document development, schedule development and analysis, cost analysis, negotiations, and expert witness testimony. Our multidisciplinary team has a strong foundation in project management, scheduling, and accounting combined with deep industry experience. BRG has worked extensively with our clients and their outside counsel to assess the allegations and facts at issue and develop sophisticated but efficient solutions.


    The Senior Associate position is a junior consulting staff position. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with strong analytical ability and a desire to advance within the organization. The work of a Senior Associate can be either qualitative or quantitative in nature, and projects range from industry and subject-matter research to data collection to the preparation of statistical, financial, and other forms of analysis.

    Headquartered in Emeryville, California, BRG currently has over 40 offices across the United States and internationally. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm.


    • Prepare baseline schedules, schedule updates, schedule narratives and related reports required by contractor, subcontractor or owner. BRG is engaged on construction projects throughout North America so a willingness to travel is desirable.
    • Provide any additional project management support at site as may be requested
    • Develop and maintain electronic databases, spreadsheets and other files as dictated by project needs.
    • Perform detailed research and analysis, then put the results into action (e.g., gather, review and summarize literature and data from the public domain, specialized industry resources, or client, public and commercial databases).
    • Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods and computer models to develop solutions.
    • Assemble project data into spreadsheets and databases for analytical use.
    • Assist senior staff with the development of time, schedule and cost analysis.
    • Assist with preparation of expert reports including typing, editing and proofreading.
    • Prepare report exhibits and graphics to support analysis.
    • Assist with the preparation of presentations for mediation, arbitration, trial and/or industry seminars and marketing events.
    • Audit own work product and work product of others to assure quality.
    • Participate in a team environment and work hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.
    • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Participate in group practice meetings and travel as needed.


    • A degree (e.g., BS, BBA, MBA, M.A., M.S., etc.) with a focus in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or other related subjects or equivalent experience.
    • 2 to 4 years of prior work experience in Construction related areas such as: Scheduling, Accounting, Estimating, Procurement, Project Management, Architectural or Engineering Building Design preferred.
    • Prior actual project scheduling experience in the field (as opposed to retrospective analyses) is highly desirable.
    • Primavera P6 software experience in actual project scheduling (as opposed to retrospective analysis) is required. Proven capability with MS Office Software with a strong emphasis on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and/or other analytical software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, MS Project, AutoCad, Microstation,) is beneficial. A desire to expand those capabilities is required.
