    The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to BRG’s President and Senior General Counsel as well as other senior leaders in the firm to optimize the daily work flow and efficient operation of the firm. The ideal candidate has superior organizational skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrates poise and sound judgement, takes initiative, is flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced, results-driven, entrepreneurial and global environment. The Executive Assistant should be able to work independently on projects from conception to completion, periodically work under pressure and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with tact and discretion.

    Responsibilities

    Communication/Coordination

    Develop a strong partnership with and understanding of the work of the President and the President’s team and be an engaged, sophisticated facilitator of their effectiveness in executing BRG’s strategic and operating goals.

    Assist in triaging email correspondence and prepare other correspondence; occasionally send firm-wide on behalf of leadership. Should possess excellent writing, editorial and proof-reading skills.  

    Facilitate communication and coordinate activities between the President, Founder, and CFO’s office, coordinating closely with other executive assistants supporting BRG’s leadership team.

    Display a high degree of discretion; recognize and handle sensitive and confidential information in an appropriate and compliant manner.

     

    Schedule/Calendar Management/Travel

    Arrange meetings and conference calls with internal and external contacts, clients, BRG leadership and/or other BRG team members. This work often involves an international component and/or accommodating multiple time zones.

    Provide meeting logistics support including meeting technologies, meeting rooms, catering services, and other reservations as needed.

    Coordinate complex business travel arrangements, both domestic and international

    Handle time and expense reporting, including occasional currency exchange related tasks.

     

    Other

    Provide support in various project related tasks including research and compilation of information, analyzing data and creating spreadsheets.

    Qualifications

    Experience          

    • Minimum of 5 years of high-level support experience, preferably in a professional services or matrixed setting such as consulting, legal or accounting. Previous experience in organizations with global presence preferred.
    • Technical savvy is key - intermediate to advanced computer skills required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; advanced Excel skills preferred.

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail, exceptionally organized and proven time management skills.
    • Flexibility in adjusting work schedule on occasion and willing to work overtime as needed.
    • Superior judgement and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.

    Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship.
