    The Administrative/Office Assistant will provide general administrative support to internal experts and staff within the Washington DC office.

     

    Headquartered in Emeryville, California, BRG currently has over 40 offices across the United States and internationally. This position offers advancement opportunities within a rapidly growing expert services and consulting firm.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate business travel arrangements, both domestic and international which may include obtaining visas, booking of accommodation, flights, car services, and etc.
    • Handle expense reimbursements, including occasional currency exchange related tasks.
    • Enter time for various members each month.
    • Run time sensitive conflict checks for potential casework.
    • Organize and maintain filing systems (digital and paper).
    • Provide backup as needed to include but not limited to front desk coverage, restocking office and pantry supplies, maintaining conference rooms, and assisting with meeting logistics support.

    Qualifications

    Education:       

    • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

    Experience:      

    • Minimum of one year of experience in a professional service environment, preferably consulting or legal, with an emphasis on customer service.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with travel logistics and planning is preferred.
    •  

    Ability to:         

    • Be a creative problem solver, work independently, and proactively seek guidance when appropriate.
    • Demonstrate an attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to ensure assignments are completed.
    • Interact with and maintain open communication and good relations with office personnel, as well as work well and remain calm in pressure situations, such as tight time constraints.
    • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work overtime is required.
